I regarded him as who had broken the window.



この文章で、asの直後に関係代名詞がきても間違いではないですか？



つまり、関係代名詞のwhoを主語として使いたいのですが。。。

＜regard A as B ＞ （ＡをＢとみなす）構文でのＡＳは、前置詞です。



従って、文法的には、ＡＳの後には名詞を置かねばなりません。



よって、I regarded him as who had broken the window は、学校文法では誤りです。



（ I regarded his as the person who had broken the window が、正解です。

但し、

＜I regarded him as having broken the window ＞も、口語ならＯＫです。）
